Kaduna Celebrates Inclusion and Resilience at Rays Haven’s Crip Camp Screening.

On December 1, 2024, in honor of the World Day of Persons with Disabilities, Rays Haven hosted a special screening of the acclaimed movie documentary, Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution in Kaduna. The event, hosted at Fasaha Cafe, united a diverse crowd from all walks of life in a celebration of equality, community empowerment, and inclusivity.
A Day of Reflection and Inspiration: The event kicked off with registration at 2:30PM, followed by the screening of Crip Camp at 3:00PM. The documentary’s themes of courage, activism, and resilience resonated deeply with viewers, sparking thoughtful conversations. The movie review session at 4:50PM provided a platform for attendees to reflect on the film’s powerful messages.
